The show in Anaheim was even better.
I wasn’t expecting it to be, either. I posted a review at kulturblog.com.
I also taped the show. I wasn’t planning on it. I just happened to have a voice digital recorder in my bag. When I was waiting for them to come on, I realized I should just turn it on and see what happens. It’s very low quality—the thing only saves files as Windows Media at 96kbps, but it’s good enough that I can relive all the excitement!
I’m on such a Hoodoo Gurus kick now.

I never even heard them. I took the family to see the Polyphonic Spree about a month ago; they played in a parking lot in Dallas. Tim Delaughter seemed tired and annoyed, but I don’t know if this was because of the audience size in his hometown (200 or so) or if it’s part of the ‘Fragile Army’…it’s the third time we’ve seen them. They played 4 times during sxsw two weeks ago but I was too busy to even bother. Although, Heather has a friend whose husband works for sxsw and we probably could have gotten in…nope, never heard Hoodu Gurus…sorry for rambling. Heather is due to pop out the girl (I’m scared) within the month… If you’ve never seen the Polyphonic Spree, catch them the next time they’re in town.

and then, after going on forever about not hearing Hoodu Gurus, I see your radio blog. They remind me of Velvet Underground kind of…but poppier…
