Protagonist vs. Antagonist

Filed under: General, Conversations - Susan M @ 2:17 pm

Nathaniel complimented Elijah on something.

Elijah said, “Nathaniel, quit antagonizing me!”

Nathaniel said, “I knew I shouldn’t have taught you that word. Now you’re just going to use it against me.”

Daniel asked Elijah what it meant, and Elijah said it’s like an antagonist. Someone who makes things bad for the protagonist. Or maybe Daniel explained that, I can’t remember.

I said, “So what does protagonizing mean?”

Elijah said, “That would be helping someone out, being nice…like Catherine!”
