You will sing and dance. Garaunteed.

Filed under: General, Music - Susan M @ 6:12 pm

I made a mix cd titled “You Will Sing and Dance. Garaunteed.” awhile ago. It’s got mostly oldies on it. I just can’t imagine anyone not moving or singing along to at least one of the songs on it.

I’ve thought about making a bunch of copies of it and just leaving it in public places for someone to find. And enjoy. Maybe I will if I can ever remember to.

Here’s the tracklist:

Sugar Sugar - The Archies
Express Yourself - Charles Wright
Runaway - Del Shannon
Oooh Child - The Staple Singers
Shop Around - Smokey Robinson & The Miracles
Be My Baby - The Ronettes
Wonderful World - Sam Cooke
Son of a Preacherman - Dusty Springfield
Let’s Stay Together - Al Green
Higher Ground - Stevie Wonder
Where Did Our Love Go? - The Supremes
He’s So Fine - The Angels
Sunday Morning People - The Honey Cone
People Get Ready - Eva Cassidy
Keep On Keeping On - Curtis Mayfield
Will You Love Me Tomorrow - The Shirelles
I’ll Be Around - The Spinners
Mr. Big Stuff - Jean Knight
Baby Love - The Supremes
Come Running - Van Morrison
In the Midnight Hour - Wilson Pickett
Wig-Wam Bam - Sweet

I’ll post “Mr. Big Stuff” and “Runaway” to the radio.blog.

If you want a copy, email me your address.

  1. How fun! I just made a crazy “I’m at home and need to move” mix last night. 90 mp3’s of crazy stuff - Harvey Danger included. Oh my! I’ll definitely email you my address for this…
